We are playing Yo!Sissy music festival at SchwuZ on July 24, Germany’s first queer music festival.
Dear friends, followers and fellow lovers,
the year is slowly coming to an end, and it has been fantastic 12 months: Our new album AGE came out in January, followed by the singles and music videos for “Gay Goth Scene”, “Year of the Spawn” and “Carpe Jugular”. Thanks for coming to our shows and for your constant support.
The new music video was directed by Joel Gibb, produced by Nicola Spunt, and also thanks to our director of photography Ben Lichty, editor Colin Murdock and the whole team. Watch the video on MUZU and on our YouTube channel.

Fellow Cameras, see you around at one of our shows in 2014? We’ve confirmed new dates throughout summer, fall and winter across Europe. And we’ll be releasing our new single “Carpe Jugular”, featuring remixes by our friends Hard Ton and Absolute. And what’s that picture above showing? Looks like a video still, doesn’t it?! More on this very soon. Good times!
Let’s start with the bad news: The Hidden Cameras NYC show at Pop Fest 2014 has been cancelled, unfortunately.
The good news is: We still love New York and will be back! For now we’re happy to announce a string of live dates in Europe—find all dates and ticket links below and inside the shows section! Next up are our shows in Ontario, Canada in early May—speak soon!
Hey kids, what’s the news? The Hidden Cameras will be returning to Canada and the United Stated in May and June. Three shows are confirmed so far, there’s more to come. Find all information on the London, Toronto
and NYC shows in here.
UPDATE: NYC show has been cancelled.
The past week has been a great one. Our new album “AGE” is out now worldwide, we’ve played great shows in Vienna and Munich, and your overall feedback is amazing—please keep it coming, on Twitter and Facebook. You can get the record at your favorite record store, or buy it online—find all shop links below.
Did you watch “Teenage – The Birth of Pop Culture” or “Wild Combination – A Portrait of Arthur Russell”? Both films have been directed by New York-based filmmaker Matt Wolf. Matt also directed the new music video for “Year of the Spawn”, and we’re happy to share it with you.
“AGE” is almost here. Thanks for preordering the album and listening to the stream. Did you remember to get yourself some tour tickets? All done? Great, but we’ve still got news before the album’s release next week Friday. Our good friend Alixander III (the production engine behind acts like Azari & III, The Cruelty Party and Idol Hanse) has remixed our new single, and we think it’s a pretty amazing club track. Stream it below:
The other day Pitchfork listed “AGE” as one of their 2014 “records to look forward to”, so we figured we could let you listen to it before its release on January 21st/24th. Head over to Pitchfork Advance and stream the album in full.
