EUROPE WAS TAKEN!





The short-lived yet grandiosely-executed tour of Europe with a 14 piece zombie choir made up of friendly Bavarians, has finally come to a triumphant end. The whole story, as told by fellow choir member Malte Göbel can be read in his online journal on jetzt.de.

"MEET CUTE" IN NYC


Joel Gibb's artwork is included in an exhibition entitled "Meet Cute" at Heskin Contemporary in NYC. Centered around "the use of cuteness and pop iconography to cloak and confront the unspeakable." Other artists include names like Nancy Drew, Inka Essenhigh, Yoshitomo Nara, among others.

JOEL GIBB EXHIBITION AT ABC NO RIO

On February 6th, 2007, Evil Evil in Canada released 200 copies of AWOO on 12" vinyl.

The sleeves are designed and hand silkscreened by Will Munro. Look out for more designs in limited quanitiy from other artists thoughout the year.

NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

The Hidden Cameras will be home from their European tour on November 5, only to set out a few days later to cover North America. The first date is Nov. 8 in Montreal.

NEW ALBUM + NEW SINGLES!
The band's third studio album, AWOO, is out now worldwide. Thanks to everyone who came out to the Toronto release party at The Beaver!



The title track is being released as a 7" single on Rough Trade on October 2nd. B-side is "Why I Understand". Digital download will also be available the same day.



Also taken from AWOO, the single "Death of a Tune" is out now on Arts & Crafts. This limited edition 7" includes an exclusive b-side, "Reaper in Mind".

UPCOMING SPECIAL EDITIONS

Previously only available on vinyl, Absolutely Kosher releases the CD version of The Arms of his "ill". These four-track recordings form the companion album to Mississauga Goddam. Out July 18, 2006!

Also scheduled for a July release is the 12" version of The Hidden Cameras' debut, Ecce Homo. Earworm Records in the U.K. is putting out this vinyl picture disc (with a bonus track!). Limited to 650 copies.
